Hoho Entertainment has announced a new partnership for its new pre-school show, Cloudbabies with Hallmark Cards PLC and Tigerprint signing the licence for the greetings category.
Helen Howells, joint MD and co-founder of Hoho Entertainment said “We are delighted to announce this new partnership with Hallmark and Tigerprint and very excited to be working with Melanie and her team who we know will produce a charming range of greeting cards.”
Melanie Beer, Group Licensing Director for Hallmark and Tigerprint added, “We’re thrilled to add Cloudbabies to the Hallmark and Tigerprint portfolios. This is one of the first new pre-school brands to excite us in a long time, that gives us the opportunity to develop a fantastic product range with immediate appeal.”
Cloudbabies is a CG animated show about four enchanting, childlike characters, Baba Pink, Baba Blue, Baba Yellow and Baba Green whose job it is to look after the sky and their Sky Friends - Sun, Moon, Rainbow, Fuffa Cloud and Little Star. They live together with Bobo White, a mischievous little imp, in a house on a big fluffy cloud. Every morning, they jump on their Skyhorsies and begin their day’s work.
The series was created by award winning art director, Bridget Appleby, is currently being animated in CG by Manchester based Studio Liddell and is due to air on CBeebies this year. Master Toy partner is Vivid and Master Publishing partner is Penguin Children’s Books.
