Hoho Rights, the commercial arm of kids production company Hoho Entertainment, has today announced new international sales for its key kids properties Cloudbabies, Everybody Loves a Moose and Abadas.
Charming pre-school series Cloudbabies has been acquired by another two Asian broadcasters, TVB Pearl in Hong Kong and Mediacorp in Singapore while DVD company Panorama has also picked up the Home Entertainment and SVOD rights for Hong Kong. Meanwhile BBC Worldwide has snapped up both Cloudbabies and mixed media animation series Abadas for its CBeebies channel in Africa. And in Latin America animated comedy series Everybody Loves a Moose has been sold to Gloob in Brazil.
“We are very pleased that our properties continue to resonate with buyers and audiences overseas,” says Jayne Pitts, Head of Sales, Hoho Rights. “Hoho will continue to operate a 360° approach to its portfolio of brands, seeking opportunities in all markets and across all platforms.”
Created by award-winning art director Bridget Appleby, Cloudbabies (52 x 10’) made its colourful debut on CBeebies in the UK in May 2012. Aimed at pre-schoolers, the enchanting series features the adventures of four adorable, childlike characters whose job it is to look after the sky and their Sky Friends.
Aimed at 6-1- year old boys, Everybody Loves a Moose (52 x 7’) is an anarchic slapstick comedy featuring the adventures of Jack and his impulsive friend Moose, which takes viewers back to the golden age of cartoon capers.
Abadas (52 x 11’) is a mixed media animation and live action series for pre-schoolers which introduces pre-schoolers to the language through play via the pages of a delightful, animated pop-up book.
